Main Ingredients
- 4 pork chops
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- to taste salt and pepper
1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
2. Season pork chops with salt and pepper, then sear in the skillet until browned on both sides. Remove and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, add mushrooms and garlic. Cook until mushrooms are tender.
4. Pour in heavy cream and add dried thyme. Stir well.
5. Return pork chops to the skillet. Simmer until the sauce thickens and pork chops are cooked through.
6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh thyme if desired.
