Instructions
Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Gradually add milk, stirring until the dough pulls away from the side of the bowl.
Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead briefly.
Roll out the dough to about ½ inch thick and cut with a biscuit cutter.
Place biscuits on an ungreased baking sheet.
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
