Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1.5 cups Granulated sugar
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 0.5 cup Unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 4 large Egg whites

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour your cake pans.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour and baking powder. Set aside.
  3. In another bowl, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg whites one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla.
  4. Add the flour mixture alternately with the milk, mixing just until incorporated. Pour batter into prepared pans.
  5. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Allow to cool.
