Tomatillo Salsa Verde
A zesty and fresh salsa made with tomatillos, perfect for tacos, chips, or as a topping for grilled meats.

Main Ingredients
- 1 lb Tomatillos, husked and rinsed
- 1 Jalapeño, stemmed
- ½ cup Chopped white onion
- ½ cup Chopped cilantro
- 1 clove Garlic
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 tablespoon Lime juice
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Place the tomatillos and jalapeño on a baking sheet and roast for 10 minutes, or until they are soft and slightly charred.
Transfer the roasted tomatillos and jalapeño to a blender. Add the onion, cilantro, garlic, salt, and lime juice.
Blend until smooth. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
Serve immediately or store in the refrigerator for up to a week.
