Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
Remove the turkey giblets and pat the turkey dry with paper towels.
Rub the turkey with melted butter, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
Stuff the turkey cavity with fresh herbs, lemon halves, and onion quarters.
Place the turkey on a roasting pan and cover it loosely with aluminum foil.
Roast the turkey for about 3-4 hours, basting occasionally with the pan juices.
Remove the foil during the last 45 minutes to let the skin brown.
The turkey is done when the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Let the turkey rest for 20-30 minutes before carving.
