  • 1 tablespoon Baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ½ cup Butter cold and diced
  • ¾ cup Milk

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Gradually add milk, stirring until a soft dough forms.
  5. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead gently 8-10 times.
  6. Roll out to ½ inch thickness and cut with a biscuit cutter.
  7. Place on an ungreased baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
