Swedish Glogg Recipe

Main Ingredients
- 1 bottle red wine
- 1 cup brandy
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup sugar
- 10 pods cardamom crushed
- 5 sticks cinnamon
- 10 pieces cloves
- 1 piece orange peel from one orange
- 1 cup raisins
- 1 cup blanched almonds
1. Combine wine, brandy, water, and sugar in a large pot.
2. Add cardamom, cinnamon sticks, cloves, and orange peel.
3. Heat the mixture over medium heat until it is hot but not boiling.
4. Reduce heat and let it simmer for 30 minutes.
5. Strain the mixture to remove the spices and orange peel.
6. Add raisins and almonds to the strained glogg.
7. Serve warm in mugs, making sure to include some raisins and almonds in each serving.
