Spaghetti Sauce with Fresh Tomatoes
A simple and delicious spaghetti sauce made with fresh tomatoes.

Main Ingredients
- 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1 medium Onion, chopped
- 3 cloves Garlic, minced
- 6 cups Fresh Tomatoes, chopped
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Dried Basil
- 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
- ¼ teaspoon Black Pepper
- Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. 
- Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes. 
- Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute. 
- Add the chopped tomatoes, salt, sugar, basil, oregano, and black pepper. 
- Bring to a simmer and cook for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally. 
- Use an immersion blender to blend the sauce to your desired consistency, if desired. 
- Serve over cooked spaghetti or your favorite pasta.
