Southern Style Collard Greens Recipe

Main Ingredients
- 2 lbs Collard Greens washed and chopped
- 4 cups Chicken Broth
- 1 large Onion chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes optional
1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
2. Add chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.
3. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
4. Add collard greens to the pot and cook until they start to wilt.
5. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.
6. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for about an hour, stirring occasionally.
7. Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes to taste.
