Main Ingredients
- 1 pound beef stew meat cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup barley
- 4 cups beef broth
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup carrots chopped
- 1 cup celery chopped
- 1 cup onion chopped
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 1 teaspoon salt to taste
- 0.5 teaspoon black pepper to taste
1. Add beef, barley, broth, water, carrots, celery, onion, garlic, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper to the slow cooker.
2. Stir to combine.
3. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until beef and barley are tender.
4. Adjust seasoning as needed before serving.
