Main Ingredients
- ½ cup Rice preferably short grain
- 4 cups Milk whole milk for creaminess
- ¼ cup Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- ¼ teaspoon Salt
In a medium saucepan, combine the rice, milk, sugar, and salt.
Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the mixture thickens and the rice is tender, about 30 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm or chilled.
