- 2 cups Cooked pinto beans
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
- 1 medium Onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Ground cumin
- ½ teaspoon Salt or to taste
- ¼ cup Water or as needed
Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.
Stir in the minced garlic and ground cumin, cooking for another minute.
Add the cooked pinto beans and mash them with a wooden spoon.
Gradually add water to reach your desired consistency, stirring constantly.
Season with salt to taste and serve warm.
