Ingredients

  • 1 lb Lump Crab Meat picked over for shells
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon Mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon Mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning
  • 1 large Egg lightly beaten
  • 2 tablespoon Fresh Parsley chopped
  • 2 tablespoon Butter for frying

Instructions 

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the crab meat, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, mustard, Old Bay seasoning, egg, and parsley. Mix gently to avoid breaking up the crab meat too much.
  2. Shape the mixture into 8 patties. If the mixture is too dry, add a little more mayonnaise. If it's too wet, add more breadcrumbs.
  3. Heat the butter in a large frying pan over medium heat. Add the crab cakes and cook until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes per side.
  4. Remove from the pan and drain on paper towels. Serve hot with lemon wedges and tartar sauce.
