Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Italian sausage casings removed
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 cups Chicken broth
  • 1 can Diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup Pasta small shapes like ditalini or elbow
  • 2 cups Spinach fresh, chopped
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, cook the Italian sausage over medium heat until browned. Remove and set aside.
  2. 2. In the same pot, add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Cook until softened.
  3. 3. Add the chicken broth, diced tomatoes, and pasta. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. 4. Return the sausage to the pot. Add the chopped spinach and cook for another 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. 5. Serve hot and enjoy!
