Irish Soda Bread Recipe
A simple, traditional Irish bread that requires no yeast.

Main Ingredients
- 4 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking soda
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1.5 cups Buttermilk
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt.
Make a well in the center and pour in the buttermilk. Mix until a dough forms.
Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead briefly.
Shape the dough into a round loaf and place it on a baking sheet.
Cut a deep cross on top of the loaf with a knife.
Bake for 35-45 minutes, or until the bread is golden and sounds hollow when tapped.
Let it cool on a wire rack before slicing.
