Ingredients

  • 3 lbs corned beef brisket with spice packet
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 large onion quartered
  • 3 cloves garlic smashed

Instructions 

  1. Place the corned beef brisket, spice packet, garlic, and onion in the Instant Pot.
  2. Add water until the brisket is almost covered.
  3. Close the lid and set the Instant Pot to 'Pressure Cook' on high for 90 minutes.
  4. Once the cooking time is up, allow the pressure to release naturally for 15 minutes, then quick release any remaining pressure.
  5. Remove the corned beef and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
