Main Ingredients
- 3 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 cup Warm water
- 2 tablespoon Sugar
- 2 teaspoon Active dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 2 tablespoon Butter melted
- 1 unit Egg beaten
In a mixing bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
Add flour, salt, melted butter, and beaten egg to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Punch down the dough and divide it into 8 equal pieces. Shape each piece into a ball and place on a baking sheet.
Cover the dough balls and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool on a wire rack.
