- 4 cups Fresh Tomatoes sliced
- 1 cup Mayonnaise
- 1 cup Cheddar Cheese shredded
- 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese shredded
- 1 whole Pie Crust pre-baked
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1 tablespoon Fresh Basil chopped
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Place sliced tomatoes in a colander and sprinkle with salt. Let them drain for about 10 minutes.
In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, cheddar cheese, and mozzarella cheese.
Layer the tomatoes in the pre-baked pie crust. Sprinkle with black pepper and chopped basil.
Spread the mayonnaise and cheese mixture evenly over the tomatoes.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
