Cobbler Ingredients
- 4 cups fresh cherries, pitted
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- ½ cup butter, melted
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine the cherries, ½ cup of sugar, and lemon juice. Pour into a baking dish.
In another bowl, mix the flour, remaining sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in the milk and melted butter until just combined.
Pour the batter over the cherries in the baking dish.
Bake for 40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the crust comes out clean.
Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
