- 2 cups Sour Cream
- 1 cup Mayonnaise
- 2 large Onions finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- ½ teaspoon Black Pepper freshly ground
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the onions and cook until caramelized, about 15-20 minutes.
In a mixing bowl, combine the sour cream, mayonnaise, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Once the onions are caramelized, let them cool slightly, then mix them into the sour cream mixture.
Chill the dip in the refrigerator for at least an hour before serving.
