  • 1 cup Heavy Cream Use pasteurized, not ultra-pasteurized.
  • 2 tablespoon Buttermilk

Instructions 

  1. Combine heavy cream and buttermilk in a jar. Stir well.
  2. Cover the jar loosely and let it sit at room temperature for 24 hours.
  3. After 24 hours, stir the mixture. It should be thickened and tangy.
  4. Store in the refrigerator and use within 1-2 weeks.
