Main Ingredients
- 1 cup conch meat, finely chopped
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 large egg
- ½ cup milk
- ½ cup bell pepper, finely chopped
- ¼ cup onion, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup vegetable oil, for frying
In a mixing bowl, combine flour and baking powder.
Add egg and milk, mix until smooth.
Stir in conch meat, bell pepper, onion, salt, and black pepper.
Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
Drop spoonfuls of batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
Remove fritters with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
