Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup conch meat, finely chopped
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ cup bell pepper, finely chopped
  • ¼ cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup vegetable oil, for frying

Instructions 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour and baking powder.
  2. Add egg and milk, mix until smooth.
  3. Stir in conch meat, bell pepper, onion, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  6. Remove fritters with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
