Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 small Onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Milk
  • ½ cup Heavy cream
  • 1 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 lb Fresh spinach, chopped

Instructions 

  1. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onion and cook until translucent.
  3. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  4. Stir in flour and cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
  5. Gradually whisk in milk and heavy cream until smooth.
  6. Add grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper. Stir until cheese is melted.
  7. Add chopped spinach and cook until wilted and well combined.
  8. Serve hot.
