  • 3 cups Milk
  • 0.5 cup Sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 3 tablespoons Cornstarch
  • 3 units Egg yolks beaten
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 4 units Bananas sliced
  • 1 box Vanilla wafers

Instructions 

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together sugar, cornstarch, and salt.
  2. Gradually whisk in milk until smooth.
  3. Transfer mixture to a saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in beaten egg yolks and vanilla extract.
  5. Layer sliced bananas and vanilla wafers in a baking dish.
  6. Pour pudding mixture over the layers.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
