- 3 cups Milk
- 0.5 cup Sugar
- 1 pinch Salt
- 3 tablespoons Cornstarch
- 3 units Egg yolks beaten
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 4 units Bananas sliced
- 1 box Vanilla wafers
In a mixing bowl, whisk together sugar, cornstarch, and salt.
Gradually whisk in milk until smooth.
Transfer mixture to a saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened.
Remove from heat and stir in beaten egg yolks and vanilla extract.
Layer sliced bananas and vanilla wafers in a baking dish.
Pour pudding mixture over the layers.
Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
